I thank God for giving me a gift of creativity.
I have the privilege of serving my God using music.
This intimacy with God, is not a religion to me. To the contrary, it is an intimate relationship with God.
Although music is great, the greatest blessing that I have received is my family; my wife and two boys. This is my mission field.
There have been many occasions when I have gotten myself in unpleasurable situations, when my life was at
risk and I was walking on a dangerous path. I believe God was next to me. "I will never leave nor forsake you....."
Through music I have gained a greater understanding of my self and the world around me. I have learned that
there is a responsibility that comes with a gift. Perseverance is needed to finish "the race" well -
wherever it takes you. You see, to make a good percussionist it takes more than just being able to play in time and knowing lots of rhythms.
It takes dedication, perseverance, understanding the past, looking to the future and
living in the present; knowing the reason why you LIVE.
He is the only God in my life, my inspiration.

7"The world is full of so-called prayer warriors who are prayer-ignorant. They're full of formulas and programs and advice, peddling techniques for getting what you want from God.
8Don't fall for that nonsense. This is your Father you are dealing with, and he knows better than you what you need.
9With a God like this loving you, you can pray very simply. Like this:

Do what's best--
as above, so below.
